French Lab : learn French by instant messenger French Lab is a chatbot that allows to learn French as a foreign language on Messenger. In order to offer a conversational French learning experience, the French Lab chatbot is structured around a combination of scripting and AI. This combination of technology allows the chatbot to be able to ask questions, but also to evaluate open-ended (free) answers. The AI functionality allows to evaluate the learner’s answers, to correct written productions and to simulate role plays in order to allow a concrete application of the acquired knowledge.
